Is the AI output actually usable, or does it need heavy editing?
In testing, 80%+ of generated SWMS documents are usable with only minor edits. The AI produces task-specific hazards, proper risk ratings, and multi-level controls — not generic boilerplate. That said, every SWMS should be reviewed by a competent person before use on site.
Does it cover both NZ and Australian regulations?
Yes. The system prompt includes HSWA 2015 (NZ), WHS Act 2011 (AU), WorkSafe NZ guidelines, Safe Work Australia Model Codes of Practice, and 50+ AS/NZS standards. It auto-detects jurisdiction from your input or covers both if unspecified.
What happens if I cancel?
Your data stays accessible on the Free plan. You can still view and edit existing documents — you just lose export and unlimited generation capabilities. We never delete your data when you downgrade.
Can I use SafeMethod for non-construction work?
Yes. While the system is optimised for construction and trades, it generates quality SWMS for any high-risk work activity — manufacturing, warehousing, electrical work, tree services, and more. The AI adapts to whatever task you describe.
Is my data secure?
All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and stored in an isolated MongoDB instance. We use JWT authentication with bcrypt password hashing. Your SWMS documents are only accessible to your account. We never share your data with third parties.
